  • CaCO3 (Calcium Carbonate) and its usage:
    Calcium carbonate is a chemical compound with the formula CaCO3. It is a common substance found in rocks in all parts of the world, and is the main component of shells of marine organisms, snails, coal balls, pearls, and eggshells. Calcium carbonate is the active ingredient in agricultural lime, and is created when Ca ions in hard water react with carbonate ions creating limescale. It is commonly used medicinally as a calcium supplement or as an antacid, but excessive consumption can be hazardous.

    The main use of calcium carbonate is in the construction industry, either as a building material or limestone aggregate for road building or as an ingredient of cement or as the starting material for the preparation of builder's lime by burning in a kiln.

    CaCO3 (Calcium Carbonate) Processing Plant

    CaCO3 processing Plant contains CaCO3 Calcium Carbonate crushing plant and  CaCO3 Calcium Carbonate grinding plant.

    >> Jaw crusher: output fineness 10-105mm, capacity 90t/h

    >> Hammer crusher: output fineness smaller than 25mm, capacity 45t/h

    >> Box-type crusher: input fineness 600-800mm, output fineness smaller than 50mm, capacity 160t/h

    >> European coarse powder mill: output size below 3mm, capacity 100t/h

    >> YGM high pressure suspension grinding mill: output size between 15-425meshes

    >> HGM three-ring micro powder grinding mill: output size between 200-3000meshes (can be adjusted)
    Calcium Carbonate Processing line

    Calcium Carbonate Processing line consists of hammer crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, vibrating feeder, main unit, inverter classifier, cyclone collector, pulse deduster system, high pressure positive blower, air compressors and electrical control systems.

    There are five basic stages in CaCO3 processing:

    1) Excavation from CaCO3 deposits;
    2) Crushing the CaCO3 rock;
    3) Screening with a multi deckvibrating screen will remove large grains which have not been crushed properly and which may contain impurities;
    4) Grinding the sorted CaCO3 rock, CaCO3 sand;
    5) Burning may be donein a number of ways involving a range of technology levels and costs. After burning, the CaCO3 would still need to be crushed, screened and, possibly, ground down further in a mill.

    Clirik CaCO3 Grinding Plant:
     will grind the CaCO3 to just the right consistency and distributes.  CaCO3 Calcium Carbonate Grinding Plant like ball mill, trapezium mill, vertical mill ,Raymond mill, coarse powder mill, micro powder mill are suitable for be using as CaCO3 mill.
    Grinding is necessary if the CaCO3 is to be used for high quality plasterwork or for moulding, medical, or industrial applications. Unlike with other cements, such as lime and Ordinary Portland Cement, special grinding plant for mineral grinding may not be required.
