Wetting agent IOTA245
   Product introduction:

Wetting agent IOTA245 has excellent substrate wetting and leveling, widely used in all kinds of paint and ink coating system. Have good water solubility and smoothness, also can reduce the surface friction, and prevent the generation of defects such as shrinkage, orange peel.

1 Appearance: colorless to light yellow liquid

2. Effective content: >99.8%

3. Specific gravity: 1.025-1.049g/cm3

4. Refractive index (25℃): 1.449-1.451

5. Viscosity (25℃): 10-100cP

6. The cloud point: 50-60℃

7. Solubility: soluble in water

 

Advantages:

1. It is the polyether modified silicone oil, safety and environmental protection, no pollution to the environment.

2. Have low surface tension, excellent substrate wetting and penetration properties, equivalent to Tego 245

3. High temperature resistance, good compatibility, when it mix with BYK-348 (BYK348 = 1%, IOTA245 = 3%), can be used to coat nitrile gloves.

4. In water and solvent system, it has strong ability to shrink hole, especially suitable for waterborne polyurethane.

5. It has good solubility with other additives, and does not influence recoat ability.

 

Application:

Waterborne industrial paint, dipping paint, carpet glue, adhesive, water-based coatings, waterborne wood coatings, waterborne polyurethane, Water-based printing paste, water-based light oil, water-based acrylic, alkyd resin etc.

 

How to use:

 0.1%-0.5% Mix in ink and paint

 

Packaging and storage:

25kg, 50kg, 200kg plastic barrel or drum seal packaging, storage at room temperature in a cool, dry place, 

storage period: 1 year.
