Overview
TSD-PD20, 15.4W indoor PoE splitter,it is an economical and practical PoE remote power equipment, with excellent performance and developed in accordance with the IEEE802.3af standard. Connect with PoE injector or standard POE switch by Cat5 cables. It helps to expand home networks, office networks, and is not restricted by layout of power line.
When working with the IEEE 802.3at power source equipment (PSE), the PoE splitter frees the device deployment from restrictions of power outlet locations, which eliminates the costs for additional AC wiring and reduces the installation time. Some bigger camera housing can be built-in PoE Power, while due to some limited camera body size, an external PoE splitter is the best choice if you would like to make your IP camera powered by a PoE switch.
How It Works?
Your IP cameras have two connections, one for Internet cable while the other is for 12V DC Power;
The PoE Splitter has two ends. At one end there are two connectors, a male RJ45 connector, and a 12V DC connector. All you need to do is to connect those two connectors to your IP camera, and then your IP camera can be magically Powered by a single internet cable from a PoE switch. Getting rid of limitation of the power supply length. This PoE splitter support a maximum range of 100 meters cable.
