The Mechanical Face Seal Type FT consists of two metallic angular seal rings of same geometric 
contour, the seal rings are assembled with trapezoidal or diamond shaped elastomers instead 
of an O Ring type elastomer. Both metallic seal rings seal against each other on a lapped seal 
face. The metallic rings are separately mounted two housing face to face.
