WS-C3560CX-8PC-S Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX Series Compact Switch
The catalyst 3560-CX Series WS-C3560CX-8PC-S compact enterprise class layer 3 switch offers 8-port Gigabit Ethernet data POE+ models. This switch support both 2 1 Gigabit copper and 2 1 Gigabit SFP uplinks. Powered by Cisco IOS the Catalyst 3560-CX support full layer 3 software with IP based feature set and Right-to-Use RTU license to upgrade to IP services. This smart switch offers flexible mounting options and uniquely designed and optimized to use outside device closet, use case include but not limited to open workspaces, conference rooms, classrooms, hotels, cruise lines, conversions, retail point-of-sale terminals and any other space constrained deployment. The primary benefit is faster flexible and cheaper deployment, cable reduction and easy cable management reducing total cost of ownership.
Catalyst 3560CX compact support advanced network feature for simplicity, intelligence and scale. For simplified management, these switches have the option running Cisco instant access mode, with instant access, the switches are connected to Cisco catalyst 6500 or 6800 series core switch and entire configuration works as a single extended switch with single management domain. In this mode, compact switch inherent all the features of Catalyst 6500 or 6800. For easy installation and provisioning, these switches support network plug and play technology and can be configured using PNP server on the Cisco application policy infrastructure controller enterprise module.
