Besides light weight, corrosion resisting, no-scale and long service life like ordinary plastic pipe, PP-R pipe has the following characteristics:
1) Nontoxic and healthful
Raw material molecular of PP-R has only exists carbon and hydrogen, which is not only fit for hot and cold water pipes, but also used for water purification system.
2) Thermal insulation
Heat conductivity coefficient of PP-R pipe is 0.21w/ml, which is only 1/200 of steel tube.
3) Superior heat resistance
Vicat softening point of PP-R pipe is 131.5℃, and maximum working temperature can reach 95℃, which can meet operating requirement for hot water system in building water supply and drainage standard.
4) Long service life
At 70℃ operating temperature and under 1.6MPa operating pressure (P.N), the service life can reach more than 50 years; and at normal temperature (20℃) the service life can even reach more than 100 years.
5) Easy to install, reliable to connect
PP-R pipe has good welding properties. Pipe and pipe fitting can be linked by hot melting and electric smelting, which are easy to install and the joint is deep-set. The strength of its joint part is stronger than its won.
