    - Exposure to sulfur or to high humidity will tarnish the solder surfact.

Registry number
CAS No.: 7440-31-5 EC No.: 231-141-8 HS Code: 80011090

Application
    1. For Solder or manufacture industry.
2.Tinplate: the largest single application of Tin in manufacture of Tin Plate (steel sheet coated with tin) which account for 40%.
    3. Tin alloy: Solders account for the 2nd largest of Tin (After Tinplate)
    4. Electroplating: Tin is used in anodes and tin chemical used in formulating various electrolytes, for coating. Tin electroplating can be performed in either acid or alkaline solutions. Alkaline tin plating are capable of producing high-quality deposits.
    5. Hot Dip Coatings: coating of Steel with lead-tin alloys produces tern plate. It is easily formed and easily soldered and is used as a roofing and weather sealing material and in construction of automotive gasoline tanks, signs, radiator, header tanks. Brackets and covers for electronics equipment and sheathing for cable and pipe.
    6. Alloys for Organ Pipes: Tin –lead alloys are used in the manufacturing of organ pipes.
    7. Battery-grid Alloys: lead-calcium-tin alloys have been developed for storage-battery grids to replace for antimonies lead alloys.
    8. Copper Alloys: Copper-tin bronzes alloy to be used for structural and decorative purpose.
    9. Dental Alloys: for making amalgams contain silver, tin, mercury and some copper and zinc. Most dental alloy contain 25% Tin and consist mainly of the Ag and Sn compound.
    10. Titanium Alloys: Tin strengthens titanium alloys by forming solid solutions.
