Solubility: Soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, glycerin, glycol, methanamide. It's insoluble in acetone, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, ether and petroleum ether etc.

 

Applications:
DI-PE as an important fine-chemical intermediate, it is mainly used in coating industry, polyether alkyd resin and photosensitive resin film. Its low aliphatic ester is used as PVC plasticizer in hi-temp insulating material. Its high aliphatic ester is used in aviation lubricant.
