Usage of this device

    Steelmaking electric arc furnace inputs electric energy into furnace by graphite electrode. Electric arc producing between electrode tips and furnace burden is used as heat source to smelt steel. The heat source of electric arc furnace is electric energy.
Atmosphere inside the furnace can be adjusted, which is helpful to melt steels containing easier oxidation of
elements. SH series three-phase steelmaking arc furnace is used to smelt high-quality carbon steel and all kinds
of ferro-alloy steel. The designed volume is from 0.5-150t. And the rate power of transformer can reach
120 MVA.

 

Equipment constitution of EAF
