1 Angle steel (also called angle iron, angle bar,steel angle bar) is a kind of steel which have two sides uprightness right angles section. It could be divided into equal and unequal shape. The kind which have two same uprightness border is equal angle. The kind one border longer than another is unequal angle. It is described by border width*width*thickness.

2 Types: equal angle steel and unequal angle steel. The two edge widths of 

equal angle steel are equal to each other.

3 Materials: Q195,Q235, Q345B, 201, 202, 304, 301, 304L, 316, 316L, 310S, 321, etc.

4 Representation method:

Equal angle steel: its specifications are represented by edge width * edge width * edge thickness mm. For example, " ∠30×30×3"  represents equal angle steel with 30mm edge width and 3mm edge thickness.

It can also be represented by model which refers to the centimeters of edge width, such as ∠3#. Model does not represent different thicknesses in the same model, so that you should completely fill in edge widths and edge thicknesses of angle steel in contracts and other receipts, to prevent independent model representation. Hot-rolled equal angle steel has the specifications of 2#-20#.

5 Unequal angle steel(also callded unequal iron,unequal angle bar,unequal steel angle bar ):

The section height of equal angel steel is calculated according to the long edge width of unequal angle steel. Unequal angle steel refers to steel with unequal angular forms and two edge lengths, is one type of the angle steel, has the edge length of 25mm*16mm~200mm*l25mm, and is rolled by hot rolling mills. Generally, unequal angle steel has the specifications of ∠50*32--∠200*125, and the thickness of 4-18mm.
