Physicochemical property:

Colorless needle crystal, soluble in ether, chloroform, methanol, ethanol, acetone, etc 

Physical properties: resveratrol tasteless, white crystals (methanol); Poorly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents. 253-255 ℃, melting point 253 ℃ sublimation.

Analytical method:

Using C18 column, with acetonitrile: water (volume ratio 30: :70) solution as mobile phase, detection with ultraviolet detector at 306 nm. Results showed that the concentration of resveratrol in 10 ~ 250 mu g/mL, the concentration had good linear relationship with the peak area (r = 0.9999); Standard addition recovery is 9.25% ~ 9.25%; The lowest concentration of 0.6 mg/g. Can adjust the flow rate at the same time in the production of measuring knotweed glycosides and enzymolysis of resveratrol

Pharmacological action:

Resveratrol is a kind of natural antioxidants that may reduce the blood viscosity, inhibit platelet coagulation and vasodilation, keep the blood flowing, can prevent the occurrence of cancer and development of resistance to atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease, ischemic heart disease, hyperlipidemia prevention role. The role of inhibiting tumor also have estrogen-like effect, can be used to treat diseases such as breast cancer.
