Screw Pump Series include Single Screw Pump and Three Series Screw Pumps.
Single Screw Pump:
Description
G Single-Screw pump is an enclosed screw pump with inner gearing, a kind of rotor positive-displacement pump. As this kind of characterized be being adaptable for the medium, stable flow, good suction performance and small pressure pulsation, it can transfer very viscous media or those containing hard suspended or solid grains or fiber apart from various flowing media. Besides, it boasts good adapting performance, wide range and high efficiency. Therefore it is widely applied in various industries like environmental protection, shipping, petroleum, and pharmacy, household, chemical, food, brewage, construction, mining, printing, paper making, power plants and boiler.
Working principle
The Single-Screw pump is a kind of rotary positive-displacement pump with inner gearing. Its main parts include eccentric screw (rotor) and fixed bush (stator). Due to special geometric shapes of the rotor and the stator, several separate seal cavities come into being respectively. The rotation of the rotor drives the transfer of media in all seal cavities from the suction end to the extrusion and continuously at a constant speed with the same volume. By right of these characteristics, the single-screw pump is especially suitable for the following working conditions:
transfer of very viscous media;
transfer of media containing solid grains or fiber;
requiring continuous operation, stable pressure and no regular pressure fluctuation;
requiring small agitation and damage to the inherent structure of transferred media;
low noise.
Three Series Screw Pumps:
Three screw pumps are commonly used for machinery lubrication; hydraulic elevators; fuel oil transport and burner service; powering hydraulic machinery; in refinery processes for high temperature viscous products such as asphalt, vacuum tower bottoms and residual fuel oils; in crude oil pipeline service and gathering, boosting and loading barges and ships. They are common in engine rooms on most of the world's commercial marine vessels and many combat ships.
Three screw pumps are also used for polymer pumping in the manufacture of synthetic fibers such as nylon and lycra. Designs are available in sealless configurations such as magnetic drives and canned arrangements. The magnetic drive is used extensively for pumping isocyanate, a plastic component which is an extremely difficult fluid to seal using conventional technology.
Three screw pumps are capable of water injection services (Tritec) as well as high pressure coolant service for machine tools (Emtec).
The pumps are self-priming, highly efficient, low noise and well-matched for use with variable speed drives (frequency converters). Liquid is moved continuously, virtually without pulsations, turbulence, crushing, or loss of lubrication.
Flow rates are available from 1 to 3300 GPM (4 to 13,250 L/M) or for operating pressures to 4500 PSIG (310 BAR).
The spindles of three screw pumps are specially shaped to create sealed chambers. And even with the continuous axial rotation of the spindles, no turbulence results. The uniform chamber volumes eliminate crushing forces. Contactless and non-slip torque transfer greatly extends maintenance intervals and significantly increases the MTBF.
Advantages of Three-Screw Pumps:
Self-Priming
High Speed
Low Operating Noise
High Thermal Resistance
Wide Viscosity Range
Nearly No Pulsation
Low Wear
Flow Control Via Speed Regulation
High Efficiency
