Steel Grit is an angular metallic abrasive produced by crushing bearing steel. Steel Grit is used for descaling,

 

 coating and corrosion removal, and surface etching. The angular particle shape provides a fast cleaning rate

 

 and an angular surface profile.

 

Steel Grit is tempered to three different hardnesses. The hardest material, GH, is designed for use exclusively

 

 in air blasting equipment,stone cutting. The two softer materials, GL and GP, may also be used in centrifugal 

 

wheel blast equipment.
