Usage of cervical brace collar
prone position
1. Position the patients' head. Keep the head and navel in a straight line and keep the line between corner of mouth and earlobe vertical to the ground.
2. Measure from the top of the collar bone to the bottom of your chin and choose an appropriate cervical collar.
3. Be careful to put the back part of cervical collar across the nape of patients, and then put the front part of cervical collar under the patients' chin. In the end adjust the hook and loop and secure it until patients feel comfortable.
sitting position
1. Measure from the top of the collar bone to the bottom of the chin while the patient's head is looking straight forward. So you can choose an appropriate cervical collar.
