Explosion-proof Wire Rope Electric Hoist
General description
BCD BMD Explosion proof wire rope electric hoist it′s small-sized lifting equipment, which can be mounted on single beam bridge crane, gantry crane and jib cranes. With slight modification, it could also be used as a winch. The explosion proof class is ExDIIBT4 and ExDIICT4, it is mainly used in dangerous places where explosive gas mixture exists. Their structure and technical parameters are same as CD1 MD1 electric hoist
BMD model electric hoist provides two speeds: normal speed and low speed, while BCD model wire rope electric hoist has only one normal speed, which can satisfy normal application.
When BMD model electric hoist is at a low speed, it can do precise unloading and loading, die assembly of sand box, maintenance of machine tools, etc, Thus, BMD model electric hoist is more widely used than BCD model.
BCD BMD Explosion proof wire rope electric hoist applies to such an environment as the temperature is between 20℃ below zero and 40℃ above zero, the wetness is no higher than 85%, the elevation is below 1000m. The applicable power source is 3ph, 50 hz or 60hz, 380 v~660v.
1.Roller
The roller is made of high-quality seamless pipes and transmits power through spline. Its case is made of welded steel plate. This is the core part of the hoist.
2.Explosion proof hook
The hook is forged of peculiar steel and connected to its case through cross beam via thrust ball bearing so that the hook can rotate freely. Hooks with 5ton or less lifting capacity are of single-pulley style and 10ton is double-pulley style. Hook surface is plated with stainless steel to avoid sparks happen
3.Wire rope
Adopts high strength wire rope with tensile strength of 1770 mpa,, good safety performance and long service life.
4.Rope guide
Standard rope guide is made of Q235b steel.
5.Explosion proof hoisting motor
The explosion proof hoisting motor with large tractive force is employed to comply with the frequent direct traveling during course of working discontinuously.
BCD model wire rope electric hoist is equipped with BZD style single speed motor, while BMD is equipped with BZDS style double speed motor.
The difference between the usual speed and the low speed is 10:1.
6.Reducer
The gear and axes are made of alloy steel or qualified carbon-steel. All reducers adopt 3-level bevel gear. Proper heat treatment is conducted to ensure their reliability and service life. Finally, the box-body and box-cover are made of cast-iron, both are well shake-reducing and sealed tightly.
8.Explosion proof electrical equipment
The explosion proof electrical mechanism consists of explosion proof electric control box, explosion proof button switch, explosion proof limiter and connecting wire etc.

9.Safety protection
**The accurate gear drive limiter is used as upper and lower limit, which can reliably cut off power circuit if hook moves to the upper or lower limit so as to stop the motor.
*Overload protector: the electric wire rope hoist employs electronic overload protector (with safety monitor) in order that the total lifting weight will not exceed the rated lifting weight; the overload protector device would automatic cut off lifting loop if the pulling force of steel rope is more than 105% of the rated capacity.
