Brief description

 

Safety Clamps are used for handling flush joint pipe, drill collars or other non-shouldered tool diameters.

The safety clamp is used to help prevent tools from sliding into the hole while making-up or breakingout.

There are two types of Safety Clamps:

 

Features

1.     Type C Safety clamps can accommodate pipe from 3-1/2" to 15-5/8"

2.     Type T clamps can accommodate pipe from 1-1/8" to 4-1/2"
