Introduction

SMP (SMP-I and SMP-II) is faint yellow powder. It has strong temperature resistance and salt resistance. It has good HTHP fluid loss control and lubricating ability. It efficiently stabilizes mud rheology and has a certain anti-collapse property as a sulfonated polymer product.

  

Application 

SMP (SMP-I and SMP-II) can be directly added to water based mud system with salinity less than 100,000 ppm. Better effect will be attained if it is used with modified lignite, sulfonated tannin, lignosulfonate, humic acid resin etc. It can be used at temperatures up to 180°C. Recommend treatment of SMP-I and SMP-II is 5.0%.

 

Packaging & Storage

SMP (SMP-I and SMP-II) is packaged in 25-kg multi-wall paper sacks with polyethylene liners. It is required to be stored in a dry location away from sources heat or ignition, and minimize dust.
