In Africa, there are many scheelite mines with big coarse scheelite inlay over 5mm. Jig gravity separation can be used to recover coarse scheelite and lower the scheelite loss due to crushing or milling. Here the scheelite tungsten gravity separator is tungsten jig separator.
The density difference is big enough for gravity separation. However, granule liberation of useful material and gangue is also needed as well. So if the liberation size is coarse or ok to gravity separation, gravity separation can do the separating job well.
