As kind of weak magnetic ore, the basic beneficiation methods for manganese ore are mainly gravity separation and intensity magnetic separation even though there are many kinds of manganese ores.
The gravity separators mainly refer to jig separators, and sometimes shaking tables. But considering small handling capacity and feeding size limitation of shaking table, it can not be used in large scale manganese separation. And here jigger is the widely used concentrating machine for manganese ore. Jigger for big blocks ore makes gravity separation more common. Jig works on basis of density difference between useful mineral and gangue with its high efficiency, energy-saving, large feeding size, and environment-friendly.
In this situation, jig gravity separation will be better to get final high great manganese concentrate.
The manganese ore will be put into rough jaw crusher and fine jaw crusher through hopper and conveyor. After two phases crushing, there is almost no big blocks. After screening of vibrating screen, the ore can be divided into two aranges: -8mm and 8-30mm. The blocks over 30mm will be back into the crusher for crushing while ore of 8-30mm will go for AM30 jigger for separation and -8mm ore wil go for 2LTC6109/8T jigger for enrichment. And finally concentrate of 0-8mm and 8-30mm will be gained separately. AM30 jigger is kind of separation machine for large size while 2LTC6109/8T jigger is mainly for the size of 0-8mm with its eight independently adjustable chambers, high recovery rate and good beneficiation efficiency.
