Specifications
The electric passing orbit crane system is special purpose hoisting equipment mainly matching with pulverizers in steel mills, thermal power plants, cement plants, glass fiber industry, chemical industry etc. The passing orbit crane mainly contain double girder overhead crane, single girder overhead cranes, electric hoists, passing orbit device and electric parts.
The I-beam of passing orbit crane can be connected with that of the auxiliary cranes by passing orbit device do that the electric hoist is able to travel to the auxiliary crane for handling work. When the passing orbit device is relieved, the crane is also able to work independently in its own working area.
Double/Single girder overhead crane
The double girder overhead crane comprises two single girder overhead cranes connected by connecting rods and pin shafts. The single girder overhead crane comprises main girder, walkway, stationary crossbeam and movable cross beam. I-beam (or welded with U-steel) is usually adopted as main girder.
Electric hoist
As the pulverizer workshop is usually strict limited in height, but request high lifting height, special hoist for low headroom is adopted. Common type hoists are also for option.
Passing orbit device
The passing orbit device is very important part of this hoisting equipment. It mainly comprises electric pusher, rail clamp block, bumper, limiting plates, limit switch, proximity switch etc. While passing orbit, the single girder overhead crane travels close to the the double girder crane until the bumper touches limit switch. Then the electric pusher puts on standby. Starting the automatic track connection button, the single girder overhead crane will move back and forth automatically until the tracks align. Next the limiting plate was driven to horizontal position and crane traveling motors will be locked. Thus the electric hoist can move from track of the double girder crane to that of single girder crane.
