Low melting point agarose is agarose with chemical modification which has better sifted feature and more transparency. It is desired product for DNA & RNA electrophoresis and it also used in cloning of tissue culture cells and analysis of virus plaques. We add ethoxy or methoxy group to agarose. It can freeze at 30℃ and melt at 65℃ which is lower than melting point of most double strands DNA. Using this quality, we can recover DNA.The agarose produced in our company has many virtues like high gel strength, good elasticity, low sulfate, low EEO and high transparency.
