JGD-B2 Double Arch Rubber Joint

The HOLA JGD-B2 are double arch designed with integral rubber flanges for tough, demanding industrial applications, as found in: Chemical/Petrochemical Plants, Industrial Process Piping Systems, Marine Services, Power Generation Plants, Pulp/Paper Plants, Steel Mills, Water/Wastewater and Pollution Control Systems. Installed next to mechanical equipment or between the anchor points of a piping system to: (1) Absorb Pipe Movement/Stress (2) Reduce System Noise (3) Isolate Mechanical Vibration (4) Compensate Alignment/Offset (5) Eliminate Electrolysis,(6) Protect Against Start-Up Surge Forces.

The HOLA JGD-B2 is a twin sphere design with more length, the supply range is from 500mm to 1000mm, and design pressure can be 1.0MPa/1.6MPa/2.5MPa. Compared to Rubber Expansion Joint(JGD-1, JGD-2, JGD-3), mechanical and acoustical performance can be almost double by changing to the most commonly specified twin sphere construction. Twin sphere designs are more flexible and allow greater movement.

Twin sphere rubber expansion jointis a twin sphere design with more length, the supply range is from 40mm×25mm to 600mm×700mm, and design pressure can withstand 1.0MPa/1.6MPa/2.5MPa working pressure.

1. Supply range is from DN500 to DN1000.
2. Control units must be used when piping is not properly anchored.
3. The rated pressure 2.5MPa products will only be sold with control units.
4. JGD-B2 Pressure rating is based on 30°C operating temperature. The pressure rating is reduced at higher temperatures.

6. Movements shown in the above table are non-concurrent.
7. Rated pressure in the above table is the maximum "working pressure". Test pressure is 1.5 times "working pressure", Burst pressure is 4 times " work pressure".
8. Normally, the flange drilling is based on DIN PN16, ANSI 150/250/300 lbs, BS PN10, JIS 10K are also available upon request.
