Coagulase reagent is used for identification of Staphylococcus aureus.

[Principle]
The Coagulase test is used to detect free coagulase or bound coagulase (clumping factor) and differentiate coagualse-producing Saphylococcus from other Staphylococcus spp..

 [Directions]
Step1. Add 0.5ml normal saline into dry rabbit plasma in order to dissolve.
Step2. Pick up colony under test with a sterile loop, elute, squeeze the swab head in order to emulsify, then forming concentrated bacteria suspension.
Step3. Incubate at 35℃±2℃ for 3 hours to 4hours (Do not shake or agitate the tube up and down while observe the result). The positive is clotting.
