Quick Details
Specifications
The ceiling mount occupancy sensors is
designed for indoor applications such as break rooms, conference rooms, and
open offices.
This series provides simple on/off control of lighting.
Passive Infrared Sensor: These models rely on passive infrared detection and work best in areas
with clear line of sight of all
occupants.
Dual
Tech: These models use both a PIR and ultrasonic sensor.
Additional Information
Key advantages:
Ultrasonic sensors can "see" around obstacles that would normally block Passive Infrared Sensor.
Ultrasonic sensors are not affected by
temperature. So, in areas with limited air flow or in situations where
occupants start to blend
into the background, the sensor's accuracy is greatly
improved.
Ultrasonic sensors are better at detecting
minor motion than Passive Infrared Sensor since they do not need to divide the
room into
zones.
Line voltage:
These models may be more useful for areas with concrete or hard-lid ceilings that are difficult to access.
Low voltage:
These models have more features and may be more useful for retrofitting areas with ceilings that are easy to access.
Settings can be easily adjusted in the
field by the installer or end user. Simply remove the front cover using a small
slotted
screwdriver to gain access. Controls will vary by model, but will
consist of a series of dip switches and trim-pots. All models
have an
integrated photocell that can override other settings.
