The GrandDog SDK is developed on the basis of the Improved Security Engine II researched and developed independently by SafeNet China Ltd. Operating systems supported by GrandDog SDK are Windows 98/ME/2K/XP, Windows Server 2003 and Linux (kernel version 2.4 and later). The protection hardware of GrandDog V1.0 is USB hardware, which is compatible with the USB1.1 protocol. 1.1 Major Features of GrandDog 1. It has big memory (1K ~ 63K), and within it there is a two- level file management system, by which the Developer can conveniently fulfill such operations as data storage and module management. 2. The hardware supports some standard algorithms of encryption and signature, by which the Developer can conveniently fulfill the operations of encryption, decryption and digital signature of their own data, so as to prevent them from being tampered with. 3. It supports two-level password management, and the Developer can grant different accessing and controlling rights to different users. 4. It supports customized algorithms like Tiny C Advanced Syntax, and the Developer can write his own algorithms and programs. The customized algorithm can run in the Hardware Dog and has high-level security. 5. It supports remotely and conveniently upgrade. 6. It has adequate interfaces which will meet the needs of different developers.
