Sodium bromide is an inorganic compound with the formula NaBr. It can be used for various purposes. It can be used in medicine as sedative; be used as a preparation of other bromine compounds;  sodium bromide also could be used as a completion fluid and workover fluid, besides, we could also find its application in photographic industry, spices industry, dyeing industry. NaBr is used in conjunction with chlorine as a disinfectant for swimming pools.
