Introduction
Enhancement fiber (also called mineral fiber, rock cotton fiber and composite fiber) using basalt, diabase and metallurgical coke as a major raw material and adding complex substance is made by spinning by high temperature furnace over 1100℃and surface treatment.
Features
1, Low slag-ball content: After several times sieving to remove impurity and selection by wind to remove slag, fiber is more pure, lowering the noise and avoiding damage.
2, High temperature resistance: fiber appearance is no change under constant temperature of 400℃ for 2 hours, while it is fibrous by microscope under constant temperature of 800℃ for2 hours. Ensure the stable friction performance.
3, Easy to disperse: fiber length is moderate. Modifying the surface of fiber. Fiber is easy to disperse.
4, High strength: Increase strength of interface by specific process.
5, Strong adsorption: Fiber specific surface area is large and it appears villiform by high temperature puffing. Fiber surface forms active group and chemical bounds by coupling treatment. Also fiber is hollow. It has good synergism with resin and matrix of other components in friction material recipe.
