General information about our thermal switch:

 

17AME series bimetal thermal switch has a high quality bimetal inside which imported from USA and Japan. It can trip off the circuit when the temperature reaches the preset value. Two silver contacts are used as contact making. One is secured to the bimetal and the other one is welded to the stationary terminal. Based on the high level raw materials, our thermal switch has very good performance and reliable properties. The life endurance for 5A can reach 100,000 cycles.High quality product is good for your choice.

 

* Special Features of thermal switch:

 

 1. Temperature calibration is 100% conducted.

 

 2. Creep or snap action is optional. for temperature lower than 50C, it is normally for creep action.

 3. Terminals can be same or opposite end

 4. Long life endurance: for current less than 5A, it can be 100,000 cycles

 

5. LOW TEMPERATURE SETTING 0-50°C available.

 

6. MAX TEMPERATURE 180°C available

* Special notes for thermal switch:

 

1. the temperature rising speed under calibration should be less than 1°C per 2 minutes;

 

2. Vacuum varnishing is not applicable. Specially treated thermal switch is possible;

 

3. Varnishing under room temperature is possible. the temperature has to be less than 70°C;

 

4. If the contact resistance is over 50m Ohm, please connect the thermal switch to the circuit of 60-100VAC, 2-5A and make the thermal switch to action 2 or 3 times. Then, test the contact resistance again. The resistance would be decreased.
