Biocide DI-CG: An in-can preservative

Biocide DI-CG is an aqueous in-can preservative and has been used in a variety of industrial, personal care, and cosmetic applications.  The active ingredients provide broad-spectrum activity against common bacteria and fungi. It contains DMDMH and IPBC; both have been approved by EPA and FDA for cosmetic and industrial applications and are highly recommended for water containing systems with pH 4.0-10.0.

Applications and Application Methods:

Biocide DI-CG has been used in cosmetics, personal cares, sponge, wipe and other water containing systems. Biocide DI-CG can be added in at any stages of the production. 3D Bio-Chem can assist you in deciding the use level in you specific products.

Dosage:

Typical use concentrations are in the range of 0.1-1.0% (w/w) in the final products. It should be noticed that a good manufacturing practices should be applied and equipment, pipes, and storage tanks should be sanitized by Biocide DBNPA-20 regularly.

Handling and Storage:

Use of personal protective equipment such as chemical impervious gloves for hands, safety goggles and shields for eyes are strongly advised. If the product comes in contact with the skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. The product should be stored at room temperature.
