Biocide DC-CG: An in-can preservative

Biocide DC-CG is an aqueous in-can preservative and has been used in a variety of industrial and personal care applications, which include cosmetics, personal care, water based coatings such as paints, slurries, dispersed pigments, adhesives, latex emulsion, processing water. The active ingredients provide broad-spectrum activity against common bacteria and fungi. It contains DMDMH and CIT/MIT which have been approved by EPA and FDA for cosmetic and industrial applications and is highly recommended for water containing systems with pH 4-9.

Applications and Application Methods:

Biocide DC-CG has been used in personal care, cosmetics, paints, slurries, dispersed pigments, adhesives, latex emulsion, processing water and other water containing systems. Dosage:

Typical use concentrations are in the range of 0.1-0.6% (w/w) in the final products. It should be noticed that a good manufacturing practices should be applied and equipment, pipes, and storage tanks should be sanitized by Biocide DBNPA-20 regularly.

Handling and Storage:

Use of personal protective equipment such as chemical impervious gloves for hands, safety goggles and shields for eyes are strongly advised. If the product comes in contact with the skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. The product should be stored at room temperature.
