Marble:   

Marble is a metamorphosed limestone composed mainly of calcite or dolomite or a combination of these minerals. It is formed from limestone by heat and pressure in the earth's crust. Limestone recrystallization causes the texture and makeup changes, resulting in a wide variety of veining and colors. Marble floorings are widely used in bathrooms, kitchens and foyers. Softer and more porous than granite, marble is more suitable for bathrooms than kitchens.

Care:

In addition to dusting, it should be periodically cleaned with warm water and a mild, natural cleaner. Stone cleaners are recommended
Do not use abrasive cleaners and clean up spills as quick as possible with a soft and dry cloth
A marble sealer can be applied to clean marble, which will protect from staining and allow soil to be wiped off with a damp cloth
