Stainless Steel Powder Water Atomized 40-15 Um for Supersonic Gas Dynamic Cold Spray
Cold Spray principle: compress air to accelerate the metal particles to the critical velocity (supersonic), and the metal particles physical deformation will occur after hitting the object surface. The deformed metal particles firmly stick to the surface of the object and they shall not be melted during the whole process. The particles would not stick to the surface without supersonic. The metal particles precipitation is shown in diagram as below.
Cold Spray has the following advantages compared with traditional Hot Spray:
1.The instantaneous temperature of sprayed object is less than 150℃
2.The object feeling temperature is 70℃
3.Good spring density
4.Arbitrary thickness can be sprayed coating
5.Spraying can be coated on any surface of metal, glass, ceramics and stone.
At present, with the development of gas dynamic spray technology and research, cold spraying has a more widely applied prospects in repair industry and manufacturing industry. High cost of raw material and unstable performance are becoming important factors to block its development.
Daye powder is produced by water atomization engineering and greatly reduces cost. Oxygen content and flowability can meet the use conditions with adjustment of engineering. The precipitation efficiency reach more than 80%.
