Panel stacker
The panel stacker lifts completed panels off a table and places the panels one on top of another to suit transport requirements. The stacker uses a vacuum lifting system to lift the panel from the line to the stack.
General specifications:
?Minimum panel length :3.5 meter
?Maximum panel length: approximately 12.5 meter
?Panel thickness:40-200 mm
?Panel stack: up to1.1 meter high
?Longitudinal offset of panel: +/-30mm
?Transverse offset of panel: +/-10 mm
?The nominal operating: cycle time is 50-80seconds
The stacker consists of the following major items:
?Full frame
?Traversing carriage
?Vertical lifting beam.
?Vacuum system with suction pads
?Stacking from conveyor (panels stacked from this conveyor)
?Control system for operation of system
?Automatic positioning of the panel to be stack
?Butterfly panel turner (as noted to follow)
The stacker consists of a full portal frame over the panel and utilizing a full length lifting beam for stacking. The lifting beam is lifted by lifting webbing straps for long life and high security. Guidance of the lifting beam is via an array of rollers to ensure accurate stacking. Vacuum lifting cups are utilized to lift the panel and a vacuum pump and tank is used to obtain maximum vacuum security and speed. Vacuum lifting cups are using soft sealing strip to ensure secure vacuum security. Geared motor are used for the lifting and traverse of the stacker.
The panel stacking system automatically drives the panel to the stacking position. The stacker position panel via sensors and positions the panel under the stacker as required. The panel are lifted by the lifting beam using the suction caps and then transferred to the stacking position. When the stack is to the set lever, the conveyor drives the panel out to the exit conveyor (in-feed wrapping conveyor). The stacker can also stack (on operator demand) to a reject stacking position –this position is not a conveyor system and is a position that allows a forklift to remove panels stacked to the position. The reject stacking position consists of an unloading position within the stacking system to allow up to 12 meter reject panels to be stacked. The operator can by remove button release panels to this position where they can be removed by forklift after panel production. Stacking system allows for dual stacking of panels to keep up with line speed handing issues for shorter panels.
Panel flipper
A turning system is included. This system will turn panels 180 degrees and then stack then. Turning of the panel utilizes geared motors for lowering of the panel stack height.
Conveyor from stacker to wrapper
One 12m long conveyor is incorporated to presort stacked material to the wrapper. The conveyor is linked to the wrapper, controlling the conveyor start and stop functions as required.
