The MAG254 is your optimal Set-Top Box solution by Infomir The device is used for launching interactive TV services delivered over IP based networks (IPTV/VoD/OTT).
MAG254 offers a faster and more powerful 650 MHz media processor (STi H207), additional RAM 512 MB and HDMI 1.4A interface supporting the highest video resolution. Increased performance allows for resource-intensive applications and more playback features including3D Video.
Two USB ports of MAG254/255 provide additional opportunities for end users including
Internet connection via Ethernet,media content playback from video and photo cameras and other media devices, recording to an external storage.
The S/PDIF output ensures the highest quality of audio output.
Functionality:
- playback delay in video streaming;
- compatibility with different transport protocols (UPnP, SAMBA);
- subtitling support;
- audio track choosing.
The MAG254 STB is integrated with the content protection systems Secure Media. The solution supports remote access, monitoring and set up (partly via JavaScript API).
