Performance characteristics of produced PCE basing on HPEG:
HPEG react with unsaturated acid such as acrylic acid, maleic anhydride. The produced PCE has features of high ratio of effect-cost, high rate of water reducing, good slump retention and excellent durability.
1. High ratio of effect-cost. When reaching the same water reducing rate, smaller dosage, higher ratio of effect-cost.
2. Lower dosage, higher water reducing rate. When dosage is 1.0% (calculated in quantity of binding materials) basing on 20% solid contents PCE, water reducing rate can reach 30-35%.
3. Good slump retention. The slump loss of concrete in 1 hour is small.
4. Excellent durability. Reduce the dosage of water in a lot, improve the durability of concrete.
5.Environmental. There is no harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, micro-crystalline chloridion and sulfate radical in the process of producing PCE.
Applications:
The PCE basing on TPEG can be used in retarding concrete, precast concrete, cast-in-place concrete, high performance concrete, flow state concrete, self-compacting concrete and mass concrete.
TPEG is widely used in project such as high-speed railway, large bridge, hydroelectric project, nuclear power plant, metro, high way, and harbor.
