Vertical band saw:

1.Body:The body is fabricated out of steel structure of heavy section and formed into a square beam to

give maximum strength by high class welding technique. Long and wide bottom leg keeps the

machine vibration free and reduces costly foundation.

2.Saw wheel:

The top and bottom wheels are made of steel rims of Extra thickness with supporting spokes.

The wheels are fitted with high quality taper roller bearings with adjustable lock nuts.

The wheels are fully balanced for smooth running

I. Resaw bandsaw introducton

A resaw is a large bandsaw optimized for cutting timber along the grain to reduce larger

sections into smaller sections or veneers.

Resawing veneers requires a wide blade - commonly 2 to 3 in (51 to 76 mm) - with a small kerf to minimize waste.

Resaw blades of up to 1 in (25 mm) may be fitted to a standard bandsaw.
