1.     Product Description

This product is a flexible SBS elastomeric bitumen waterproofing membrane with a non-woven polyester reinforcement. Both sides are covered by a thermos fusible film. It can be applied for the projects such as: Building roof, basement, water pool, cave, reservoir, cold storage, tunnel etc.

2.    Type and Specification

·Classified by the physical and mechanical properties: Type Ⅰ and Type Ⅱ .

·Classified by filler base: Polyester filler (PY), Glass fiber filler (G) and Glass fiber reinforced polyester filler (PYG).

·Classified by upper surface isolation materials: Polyethylene film (PE), Fine sand (S), Aluminum film(AL)and Mineral particle (M).

Thickness:

Polyester filler (PY): 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm

Glass fiber filler (G): 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm

Other specifications need to be conferred before ordering.

6.      Construction Method

·This product can be used with torch-on techniques, it also can be used with adhesive for construction.

·Before construction, the water content of the base layer is less than 9%, paint the special base oil and wait for the construction to fully dried.

A)          The base is required to be dry, smooth, clean, no dust, no debris, no pollution, no moss spot. If there is any holes or protuberances, they must be flatted.

B)           Paint the base course treating compound upwind.

C)           Paint adhesives on the base surface and membrane surface, and reserve lapped edge.

D)          Pave membrane, Squeeze out the excess air.

E)           Bond the lapped edge.

7.        Storage and transportation

·Do not mix Products of different varieties, grades, specifications and grades.

·The sheets should be stored in a dry, ventilated and no higher than 50℃ temperature environment. Do not pile more than two layers.

·It can be stored no more than 1 year under normal storage condition.

·When use ship or rail transportation, the sheets must be piled no more than two layers vertically. If necessary, should be covered with a tarpaulin.
