Our sanding screens are made of strong fibers with uniform open construction and superior abrasive coating. The abrasive are bonded to both sides of the durable mesh backing. There are two major kinds of abrasive, Brown Fused Alumina (BFA) and Silicon Carbide (Sic). The BFA sanding screens are ideal for floor care and Sic sanding screens are ideal for sanding plaster and drywall joint compounds. Sanding Screens are waterproof and can be rinsed for reuse. They are made with sharp abrasive for long-lasting performance and feature an open mesh which reduces loading. They are conventionally cut "in-line" for optimum economy and also have the die-cut sheet available which features a 10o bias cut for aggressive cutting action without groove lines. Two die-cut sizes: 3 5 /16" x 12"and 4 3/16" x 11 1/4" in 1200 to 60 grit. Rolls: 4", 8" & 12" x 50 yards available in 1200 to 60 grit. Sheets: 9” X 11” in 1200 to 60 grit Discs: Custom-made in 1200 to 60 grit
