Usage: BTA-S is absorbed on metal surface to form a thin film to protect copper and other metals from corrosion of air and other harmful medium. Adding trace BTA–S intocold water can prevent the migration of copper ion which can catalyze the corrosion of aluminum, iron ions and other metals. In the heat-transfer medium, the copper ions will cause pitting corrosion of aluminum. Therefore, BTA–Sis widely applied tothe field of solar energy conversion systems, nuclear power plant reactor, the cooling system of power plant boiler and the cooling system of car engine and internal combustion engine. Using BTA-S with other corrosion inhibitors will cause the synergistic effect and increase the corrosion inhibition effect.
