Ethernet extended board allows operator connect the internet. It's a input WizNet W5100 TCP/IP microprocessor extended board. This board connect the board by wire-wrap header. Choose the Ethernet in IDE to allow this board connect to internet.  This board allows 4 sockets connected at the same time.

Ethernet W5100 extended board R3 version have added 4 extra ports which makes 1.0 standard output port. 2 ports near the ARFF and the other 2 ports near RESET. One of the 2 ports near RESET is IOFEF. It's to help the extended board suits to mainboard.  The other port near RESET is empty for possible extended in the future.

New version have added micro-SD slot and with the internet storage function.  Moreover,  it compatible to Duemilanove and Mega series. It owns an independent PoE(power-over-Ethernet) module. This module can be meld to mainboard so then to transfer power by twisted-pair. It complies to IEEE802.3af stardard and compatible to existent PoE module.
