1.Brief Introduction:
     A mud desander is used used as the 2nd stage of oilfield mud tank system, for which the solids diameter to separate ranges from 45 to 75 microns.
KES desander cones are 100% polyurethane hydrocyclone, which make separations between 40 and 100 microns. One, two, or three desander cones can be mounted over a cone underflow hopper. Each 10″ hydrocyclone processes 500 gpm at 75 feet of head, allowing for a maximum capacity of 1500 gpm. The underflow can be discarded or directed onto a vibrating shaker screen for further processing.
