Jet mud mixer is used to change the drilling fluid or mud density, viscosity by adding and mixing bentonite ect. additives. Connected by manifold valve, jet mud mixer is composed of centrifugal pump, jet mud hopper and mixer.
The jet mud mixer is suitable for drilling mud aggravation and preparation from 1,500 meters to 6,000 meters. When mix the mud, put drilling fluid materials (such as betonies and barite powder) and corresponding chemical additives (such as polymer) into the mixing hopper and then go into the recycling tank through the jet unit. The mud mixing unit can increase the shear strength of the liquid in the tube, better improve material dispersion, and increase the liquid mixing pressure, and get the material the full cycle and mixing.

Installation and Use

In the drilling mud system, aggravating hopper and centrifugal pump could be connected by a single base, or they can be divided mounted, and then connected each other via manifold and valve.
In order to make the whole system more compact, mixing hopper and pump would be installed on the mud tank skid usually. There is two cases.
(1) Hopper on tank top, pump and manifold on tank skid.
(2) Hopper, pump and manifold all mounted on tank skid.
