Property:


    Calcium stearate appearance of fine white, fluffy powder, creamy feel, soluble in water, toluene, ethanol and other organic solvents. Non-toxic, heated to 400 degrees Celsius slowly decomposed into stearic acid and corresponding calcium salt.


Applications:

    1. used as a non-toxic PVC heat stabilizers, and has excellent lubricity. Thermal stability as effective as barium stearate, lead stearate, tin stearate and cadmium stearate. But cheap, low toxicity, good processing performance. Zinc soap and an epoxy compound with a synergistic effect, can improve the thermal stability. Commonly used in non-toxic food packaging films, medical devices and other requirements of soft products. And the base of lead and lead salts and soaps used for hard products, can increase the gelation speed. This product is used polyethylene and polypropylene, it can eliminate the adverse effects of residual catalyst on the resin color and stability. This product is also widely used as polyolefin, polyester reinforced plastics, phenolic resin, amino resin and other thermosetting plastics lubricant and release agent. The disadvantage of this product is the initial coloring, at least 100 ℃ heating time is longer, will become reddish white PVC, especially when there is the presence of titanium dioxide, coloring is particularly serious in the formulation. The large amount of goods, there is segregation fouling. 

    2. used as a lubricating agent Stuck in oil field operations. Also used as a heat stabilizer and a variety of plastics processing PVC lubricants, mold release agents and the like. In hard products, and the base of the lead salt, lead with soap can increase the gelation speed. Also used in food packaging, medical devices and other requirements of non-toxic soft film and equipment.
