The DAM series is a Data Acquisition Module, used widely in industrial automation control systems. E.g.: Base Transceiver Station, diesel generator rooms, engine room, transformer substations, telecommunication equipment rooms, power supply systems and so on. It supports Modbus RTU Protocol over RS485 serial port, special for extend I/O by RS485 ports to save cabling and cost.
