Description for the structure of GRP pipes.

GRP pipe adopt reciprocating winding technology, this structure form, its internal and external wall are fiberglass layer, two layer's role is to ensure the intensity and rigidity of tube products. GRP layer made by lining layer, structure layer and surface protection layer.

 (1) Inner lining  :Inner layer (also called inner anti-corrosion layer) is the corrosion resistance resin with surface mat and needled mat for the  strengthen  material composition, resin content more than 90%, therefore also called rich resin layer, its main function is to resist medium erosion, used to waterproof or other media's immersion and corrosion., prevent leakage.

(2) Structure layer: Structure layer use E- glass yarn as reinforce material, resin content is 30% ~ 40%. It is through the change of each layer's fiber winding angle to reach the requirement of design according to the working conditions and pressure levels. Its function is to ensure products keep all the stress from different aspect around, to ensure the strength and rigidity of GRP pipe.

(3) The surface layer (protection) : Surface layer is the outside surface making of anti-corrosion resin plus inhibitor (anti-aging), uv absorber, toughening etc, to finish product external protection, plays the role of the anti-aging. Resin content > 80%.  The thickness of the surface layer exceeds 0.5 mm.
