LA - 12M is a large sized line array speaker with 3-way frequency system. It provides frequency range of 50Hz - 16KHz. It is a combination of two pieces of 44mm (voice coil) neodymium magnetic compression unit, four pieces of six inches alto unit, and two pieces of 12 inches neodymium magnetic woofer, which has great dynamic margin.
In mid LF part, there is a pair of high-efficiency 400W, 12 inches paper cone woofer in series connection.
In the intermediate frequency part, it is combined with 4 pieces of high sensitivity 6 inches alto unit, installed behind the high frequency part.
In the high frequency part, there are two pieces of 44mm (voice coil) neodymium magnetic compressed units. Through a plane wave converterand a 90 degree index curve to the trumpet, it creates a consistent wavefront.
With up to sensitivity 113 dB in the high frequency part, it makes LA-12M generate as much as 140dB peak HRTFS (SPL) output.
The plywood case of LA -12M is a trapezoid body. the space between two LA-12M is very small, which reduce the invalid sound area of the whole array, and minimize the vertical side lobe.
