 Main Technical Features

l The AGW is a self-propelled frame designed to apply efficient horizontal

 seam welds  by means of the Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) Process. The AGW rides

 along  the upper edge of a large diameter field storage tank while applying inside

 and/or outside welding. Compared with conventional techniques, the AGW reduces the

 construction rate 25 times and save lots of welding time.

l AGW-1 is compatible with the traditional construction method (down-top). The frame drives hang on upper edge of the tank.

l AGW-1 is also compatible with lifting jacks method (top–down, also known as jack up construction). The unit is easily converted to drive at ground level on a rail 

outside and around the tank.This means:it may weld the bottom plate around the tank

l Power required for Lincoln DC-1000 , 46 kW/EA

Standard package includes

a) Heavy duty motorized carriage with frequency driver for speed regulation. 

( Two motors drive the frame upper edge of  the tank )

b) Control box for speed adjustment: forward, reverse and stop. Digital display in mm/min.

c) Flux recovery system with flux belt assembly.

d) Manual welding head X-Y-Z dimensions slide .

e) Operator seat with tool box.

f) Power source storage: 1300 mm (L)*1200 mm (W) *1400 mm (H).(Put the DC1000 power in it)

g) Power cables: 2.5 mm2 @ 3 Nos, 60 m, Control cables, 60 m, Welding cable 120 mm2, 60 m, -----When we supply the DC1000 power,we will supply these cables.

h) Several items: wire reel for 60 lbs coil, electric lifting pulley (100 kilograms @ 

30 m from the ground), control, lamp and plug-in for electrical tools.
