to Use Hot

to prevent overheating of the pack, microwave in 30 second increments until desired temperature in reached. after each 30 seconds, remove the pack from the microwave and check the temperature for at least 5 seconds. Total heating time should not exceed 3 minutes (maximum of six 30 second intervals). Make sure temperature is comfortable to the touch before applying to the skin.

to Use Cold

Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours. Remove form freezer and apply directly to skin. Hot pack can also be stored in the freezer, in a plastic bag.
