Product Description

Berberine is extract from bark, which is an isoqinoline alkaloid shown to have a chemopreventive property against colon tumor formation by inhibiting the enzyme Cox-2 which is abundantly expressed in colon cancer cells. Also inhibits c-Jun, a transcription factor that plays a critical role in inflammation and carcinogenesis.
