Matting agent for Polyester/TGIC powder coatings

Jietonda? K7216 is a low wax containing and resin based matting agent designed for applying in exterior PES/TGIC powder coatings to provide low gloss of ca.10%(60°) and excellent extursion stablility and also curing stablility.

2. Characteristics
● Can provide good matting performance of 10%(60°) gloss.
● Being non-reactive, low wax containing matting additive, the exterior durable powder coating formulated by K7216 exhibits excellent flow and mechanical properties.
● Excellent overbaking performance, hence it is recommended to use in ranges of anti-yellowing properties required.
● Excellent extrusion stablility and also curing stability

3. Use method & levels
● Premix K7216 with other components of the formula before extrusion.
● the use level is 2-6% by weight of total formula, depends on the gloss required.

4. Package & Storage
● Packaging with PE lined Kraft paper bags. Net weight 25kg per bag.
● Store in temperature between 2-32℃ or cool dry place to avoid caking. Keep package closed after using and keep away from heat and fire.
● Based on our experience the shelf life of this product under above conditions is at least 2 years.
